Program Beasiswa Yayasan ASM-ASM Undergraduate Scholarship Program
The ASM Materials Education Foundation
Established in 1952 through a grant from ASM International, and supported by individual contributions, the ASM Materials Education Foundation provides for the advancement of scientific and engineering knowledge through its support of education.
The ASM Foundation Board of Trustees meets quarterly to review current programs and to plan for future projects. The Board guides the Foundation by considering how well programs fit the Foundation Mission: "To excite young people in materials, science, and engineering careers."
The Board has resolved that "preference will be given to programs which raise awareness of educational and career opportunities available in materials science and engineering through direct contact between ASM members and students."
Undergraduate Scholarship Program
Since 1953, the ASM Materials Education Foundation and leading ASM Chapters nationwide have awarded scholarships totaling over $1 million. Currently 37 scholarships are awarded annually through the ASM International Foundation, which is supported by member contributions and other gifts. Most of these awards include a certificate of recognition, travel and housing allowances for attendance at the awards ceremony during the Society's annual Awards Dinner.
